About Us
People always ask us about our name or say things like, "Hey, are you guys psychics?" In a word, yes. We totally knew you were going to ask that. But that's not why we're the Psychic Visions Theatre. The fact is, in the true spirit of hippie/gypsy recylclable circle-of-life karmic destiny fashion, we simply decided to re-use the signage "Psychic Visions" left behind by a previous tenant in the building, who was, apparently, a psychic. Or at least played one below a stage in a very odd, apartment-looking building on Motor Ave.
With two resident companies and an acting studio working together to foot the bill, the Psychic Visions Theatre has been our home since the summer of 2006, and we couldn't be happier. Unless you signed up for a class, or came to one of our shows; then we'd be ecstatic.
Roadkill Productions, originally hailing from Austin, TX has produced numerous original plays in this theatre space, and is currently running "Bedtime Stories," our final play in this space before the bulldozer comes to level our wonderful little building.
Second Story Theatre offers acting classes in this space, and also produces shows here and in other theatres. Check out
